I used my standard pictogram (with a black background). Make sure not to use a Background layer, but you can have it hidden. Select the black with the Magic Wand, then Cut. Next, I reselected my pictogram, using Shift to add more to my selection (needed for my "stickman's" head). From here, I used my Gradient tool and picked two colors I liked. After that, deselect everything. You can add the Outer Glow here, which I did, but had to change its properties later. Resize the image. I went with 25 pixels (height). Adjusted my Outer Glow. Then Save for Web. Choose GIF with Transparency. I used No Transparency Dither on mine.
And there is it! Download paint.net (getpaint.net/com) and install it and do these steps :3 oh and the picto with black background here http://tale-of-tales.com/TheEndlessForest/register/pictogram.php?username=haloghost&bgcolor=000000 just change haloghost with your username | |
